Glynn Sinclair did his culinary training at the London Westminster College and at the London Ritz Hotel before settling in South Africa.

very professional chefs competition he entered he won, and was soon renown as South Africa's premier competition chef. Glynn soon set his sights on competing abroad and is proud of his achievements, including being announced World Champion at the 1992 I.K.A World Culinary Olympics and winning the Gold Medal at the prestigious Bocouse D”or World Chefs contest in Lyon, France in 1993. Glynn was a member of the South African National Culinary Team for nine years before making the decision to retire from entering professional competitions to focus on his own business.

The lure of the competition has not left Glynn completely. He now dedicates his spare time to judging competitions and sharing his culinary knowledge by training young chefs.

Glynn's business, Sinclair Signature Specialities, established in 1993, is regarded as the market leader in the manufacturing of value added food products in South Africa. Sinclair's services the whole industry including conference centres, retail outlets, all major hotels, restaurants, Rovos Rail and many more.

Sinclair's range of products include pre-prepared starters, main courses, desserts, cocktail reception snack pates, terrines, mousses and a host of culinary delights. In addition Sinclair's has an outside catering division.
