Full Cream Milk

Douglasdale Dairy full cream milk is available in 500ml, 1L and 2L bottles, as well as a 1L sachet.

Fast Facts:
- has a minimum butterfat content of 3.3%
- is pasteurised and homogenised to give the milk its high quality and especially creamy flavour and to enable the milk to be stored frozen.

Low Fat Milk

Douglasdale Dairy low fat milk is available in a 2L bottle and a 1L sachet.

Fast Facts:
- has a butterfat content of between 1.5% and 1.8%
- produced by separating and removing some of the butterfat off full cream milk.

Fat Free Milk

Douglasdale Dairy fat free milk is available in 1L and 2L bottles.

Fast Facts:
- has a butterfat content of below 0.5%
- produced by removing most of the butterfat off the full cream milk, retaining a small amount to ensure the milk retains its flavour and white colour.

Cream

Douglasdale Dairy packages cream in 250ml, 330ml and 1L variants to suit all consumer needs. Douglasdale Dairy is the only dairy in South Africa that offers consumers a 330ml cream option with a screw cap to prolong longevity of the product.

Buttermilk

Douglasdale Dairy packages buttermilk in a convenient 500ml carton. Cultured products made from full cream milk are produced by adding a freeze-dried culture to the milk and then fermenting it until it reaches a specific acidity level. Buttermilk has a smooth texture and a slightly sour taste.

Amasi / Maas

Douglasdale Dairy packages Amasi in a 500ml carton, 1L sachet and 1L bottle. Cultured products made from full cream milk are produced by adding a freeze-dried culture to the milk and then fermenting it, until it reaches a specific acidity level. Amasi has a smooth texture and a slightly sour taste.
